We offer a range of different calligraphy styles for your poem.
Calligraphy means ‘beautiful writing’ and encompasses many varied letter forms. From the simple but perfectly formed Italic style to old English scripts, there are more choices than you might think.

We offer a choice of styles including Italics and Copperplate, Gothic and more.

Italics are the most modern calligraphy style we write, and we offer a simpler letter form and two curly variations on the style.

The image to the left shows the standard or classic Italic style. Click to see more italic calligraphy styles for your poem.

We also write in Gothic and Antique calligraphy. For a truly timeless piece of calligraphy work, choose one of these old English styles of lettering for your favourite poem.

The image to the left shows our gothic calligraphy style. For something a little softer, consider antique calligraphy.

Whichever of our calligraphy styles you choose for your poem, we can incorporate an illuminated initial letter.

Illuminated letters are gilded, either with 22 carat gold leaf or with real silver leaf, on a coloured panel to complement your design.

Gilding work is a little extra: £10 per letter.
